Meet Kimmy!

KIMMY!! That's my name! I am such a good girl. I am working on my housetraining and I know sit. See me in the picture showing you? I love treats. I was Owner Surrendered. I do not know why and the card on my cage didn't say so either. 

This is what her foster has to say about Kimmy:

She is now house trained and has learned to let you know when she needs to go (pacing, whining, woofing, or ringing the bells when we are in the kitchen).  She has learned sit, lay down, come, kennel, off, and we are working on stay and up (to sit up from lay down).  She is a very smart girl and learns quickly and is also highly perceptive.  She can easily pick up on the moods of her people and act accordingly.  She had a new milestone last night - it was her first night she was allowed to sleep outside of her kennel and she did very well.  

She is a super sweet and lovable companion.  She likes to cuddle and curl up next to you on the couch or in your lap.  She is very gentle and friendly.  She is good with other dogs (large and small), cats, and children (even babies).  She is young and playful but not overly energetic but she does prefer not to sit still for too long.

She would love a fenced in yard as she likes to run to get out some of her extra energy but she does do well on a long flexi lead for potty breaks and playtime in the yard.  She likes the snow and has no problems with going out in the cold.  She is not a barker - she will bark when she is excited or during play but not at strangers.  Another thought we had about Kimmy is that she would make an excellent therapy or companion dog given her gentle and friendly nature, her intelligence, and her intuitiveness. 

Whoever ends up with Kimmy will be very lucky and she will return their love ten-fold.  Do you have room in your home and heart for Kimmy?
