Vanna is a 3 year old black and brindle min pin. She weighs about 12 lbs and has natural ears and tail. Vanna found herself in a shelter pregnant. The shelter staff were going to put her to sleep because she was very scared there but we couldn't let that happen. She was covered in ticks and had worms really bad. She gave birth to 5 beautiful puppies. She has finished whelping her puppies and is now looking for a home of her own. She used to be shy but now she is not. She does get scared when people yell so she may do best in a home that is more quiet. Vanna is house trained and is crate trained. She does pull on a leash and is working on that. She gets along great with other dogs and ignores cats. We think Vanna would do best in a quieter home because she doesn't like yelling. We think she has not had the best past. If her foster mom yells at her or another dog she will hide under the couch for a couple hours. With all that she has been through she deserves a family that will love her unconditionally and give her the family she has never had. When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care. Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS.
