Meet Khloe,
Khloe has had a strange life the last few weeks. A young girl got her for free at a swap meet! The girl was not able to keep her, and turned her in to a rescue. That rescue was full, so they've turned to MARS to help out.

Khloe is a very sweet girl. She has the body of a basset hound with the markings of a sheltie. She loves people and is a happy girl. She is way to interested in cats, so we are looking for a forever home without cats.

She is housebroken and crate trained.

Khloe is very well behaved. She received rave reviews from the groomers for her good behavior. Khloe loves her walks and has perfect walking manners. She does not tug at
all and will follow your lead. She will walk as fast or as slow as you
want but prefers a fast pace. With her short legs a fast pace is a nice
comfortable walking speed for us. But, she does jump a little and will counter surf when you are not looking.

She loves to snuggle and would prefer to be a couch dog. We don't let her on
our living room couch but we do sit with her on the couches in the other
rooms. She likes to sleep on our bedroom floor when we retire for the
evening.

Khloe is well accustomed to our family. She doesn't exhibit much of the behavior of a Sheltie. The Basset Hound personality is strong. She is very calm, moderately protective and has a fairly low energy level. She is active when encouraged but is also very happy to just sit at our feet.

She gets very excited to see us when we come home. She is a wonderful dog and will a great addition to your family!
