My name is Ello.
My mother was a beautiful brindel Old English Bulldog and my dad was a Lab.I have an amazing smooth shiny dark chocolate coat and matching light brown eyes. They docked my tail and removed my dew claws when I was a pup.

I am all muscle and am very fast! I am a good listener and very smart. I have never wandered and I come running at lightning speed when I hear my name! I can jump like a deer and love to play fetch! I love car rides, swimming, walks, anything with other company of any kind with 2 or 4 legs.

I know my basic commands; sit, come, go lay down, out of the kitchen, and kennel up. I am crate trained and that's where I stay at night and while no ones home. I have never been with out another dog and think I would get very depressed if I didn't have a brother or sister. I have been around horses, cats, and children of all ages.

I LOVE food! If you want me to learn something new this is the best way to get my attention.

I just arrived in rescue, and am settling in to my foster home. I'll get new, updated photos soon. My last family only had pictures of me from the summer.....

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS. We do not transport to potential adopters.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Post Adoption: Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. We highly recommend Pet Insurance. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
